Former Congressman Jason Chavits made a statement I would have to agree with, the Secret Service personnel responsible for securing the high ground need firing, resigning should not be an option.
Among other things if that young man, name has been released, was disguised as an agent, that doesn't fly, every agent should know where their snipers are.
They should have known someone was at that location.
Reacting to a shot is not good enough!

A retired Marine Sniper responded on a forum.
That is actually further evidence of an unsophisticated shooter. Because practiced and trained shooters know that their best attempt will still vary, often wildly depending on the situation (like trying to assassinate someone), they don’t shoot for “headshots”. That’s the hallmark of someone whose military experience begins and ends with a videogame controller.

Henry, that's true about head-shots. The military & the police are trained to aim for center mass. Increase the chances of a hit.
