This clip is from a Bitcoin movie made in 2014 about the beginning and rise of Bitcoin. FinCEN is the Financial Intelligence Unit of the US Treasury. Do you hear what the federal man is telling the Bitcoin guy? He's saying that Google was sending him alerts when people would search Bitcoin. I mean I knew they had computers that would look for certain words and bring up a red flag but I never knew it went directly to some law enforcement agency right then.  |

Byron, doesn't surprise me a'tall. Google is nothing more than a data-mining company. They even surveil G-mail accounts for key words. And I have to wonder why anyone would use their Chrome-based devices? Imagine the treasure trove of personal info those must yield.  Which is why years ago I decided not to use anything with the Google label on it. I won't even use their search engine. Big Brother (aka Google) is watching. |

Google is spying on everything you do. Literally everything. If you are not protecting yourself, Google is after your personal life whether you like it or it. Google spies on you and it's not just a conspiracy theory anymore.

Yeah I knew Google was gathering information on us all but I just didn't realize how they worked with the Government so readily. I mean they actually set up alerts to go straight to a government agents computer real time while having the American citizens believe they have to get a court order for Google to give up information.

Byron, I believe you but that doesn't sound right. I mean legally. To get a phone tap law enforcement would need a warrant. So now what, that's being bypassed 'cause it involves the Internet? Yet another violation of law?

It only has to be legal if it's brought up in a court of law. They're (GOV) gathering information illegally just for the sake of knowing what's going on.
