A new Gallup poll shows that the issue is supported by huge majorities across the political spectrum. Two election law policies are supported by Americans — requiring photo identification to vote (84%) and providing proof of citizenship when registering to vote for the first time (83%). On the matter of election integrity generally and voter ID specifically, the American people have spoken. And according to Gallup, they have spoken resoundingly. Article Here

If I understood the GA Sec of State they have ID for early voting. But not Election day. But they have the state seal in ballots now to prove they are real.

You can register in MN on election day, with just proof of address!
Things then get a little more involved for some precincts, have to be I think 6 week resident.
But heck many non citizens get utility bills.
